Donations are Voluntary

* California law does not allow school districts to charge a fee for supplies or activities. However, due to the state budget cutbacks, schools can no longer afford to fund many fields and purchase basic supplies. Therefore, we are requesting voluntary donations from parents to offset the costs of supplies and materials needed in the classrooms. Parents are not required to make a donation and all students may participate in activities and receive supplies and materials regardless of whether their parents/guardians make a donation.

Supply Lists

Our PTA Safety Committee organizes and replenishes our safety bins and emergency backpacks. These items are crucial for our students’ survival in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.  However, due to budget constraints, we would not be able to replace these items without your support and contribution. Here are some items that each classroom needs: (each class K-3 has 24 students and 4-5 has 34 students).

  • Individually wrapped snacks, such as granola bars/goldfish crackers (no nuts please due to students’ allergies)
  • Cases of bottled water
  • Plastic sandwich bags and freezer bags
  • Batteries (size D for flashlights)
  • Travel-sized first aid kits
  • Toilet paper
  • Antiseptic wipes
  • Eye rinse
  • Hand sanitizer

We would gladly accept any donations so that we can be assured that our classrooms are equipped with the necessary materials in case of any emergency. Thank you in advance for your help and supporting our school!
